We are looking for people to help us get organized, do some research, develop new exhibits, take care of our park, and create fun educational programs and events.
Volunteer positions are seasonal and year round. Scheduling is flexible.

Historic Park Volunteer
Help the museum maintain a clean, beautiful park and protect the historic artifacts and buildings.
Examples of work: care for outdoor artifacts, weed & clean up plants around park, help design and achieve a wildlife friendly park.
Education Programs & Events Volunteer
Design and execute educational programs at the museum.
Examples of work: plan a Saturday Kid Talk, create an interactive exhibit element
Assist Museum Coordinator with museum catalog, historical research, exhibits, and artifacts.
Examples of work: research artifacts, create inventories, assess artifacts
Assist with administrative work and organization in the museum.
Examples of work: data entry, background research, writing, create inventory, organization
Help visitors experience the museum and the park
Examples of work: greet visitors, answer questions, and show how to view the museum and park. Protect artifacts. Some docents give tours but it is not required.
